The Summer Hoops Festival is THE place to be for the second July NCAA recruiting period. The event which takes place in Orlando on July 18-21, hosts two events into one:
LIVE Player Showcase
– Featuring top individual high school and post grad prospects
– Guaranteed 3 games over 2 days
– Game jersey provided
LIVE Team Showcase
– This is an open invitation event for elite travel teams in the US and internationally
– Participate in 1-3 showcase games (additional games may be purchased)
– Limited to 17u and 16u divisions (Top 15u teams may play in the 16u division with approval)
College Coaches, Scouting Services and Media will be in attendance

2018 NCAA Team Registration Requirements:
The NCAA requires all teams that are participating in NCAA Certified events to be registered on their BBCS System NCAA BBCS System Link.
You will not be able to create a team roster prior to obtaining your USA Basketball GOLD License. So, you should go to USA Basketball Gold License Application Link and start that application right away. Obtaining your USAB Gold License now will enable you to access the BBCS as soon as your USAB License becomes available.
All Coaches of these teams must obtain a USA Basketball Gold License; this process is a two-part phase. There is a background check & then an extensive video education portion. Please give yourself a minimum of 2-3 hours to complete this, you are able to break it up and complete it in segments if needed. USA Basketball Gold License Application Link.
Once a coach in your program has received a USAB Gold License, then you may move on to starting the NCAA BBCS Team Registration Process. In order to complete this they have prepared a system user’s manual that is available at the following link. NCAA BBCS ECAG Manual Link.

USAB GOLD LICENSE
Coaches need a USAB Gold License to work the camp. The steps for obtaining a USAB Gold License for the first time or renewing an existing USAB Gold License can be found here: https://www.usab.com/youth/development/coach/process-for-becoming-a-licensed-coach.aspx
**Coaches that had a USAB Gold License need to RENEW their existing USAB Gold License and NOT obtain a new one.
**Base fees for the USAB Gold License for the 2017-2018 season are as follows:
– Sept 1-Dec 31, 2017: $55 (plus additional background check fees if applicable)
– Jan 1-March 31, May and June 2018: $65 (plus additional background check fees if applicable
– April and July 2018 (event months): $120 (plus additional background check fees if applicable)
