Pines Charter 2020 guard Dallas Graziani commits to NSU

Pembroke Pines Charter senior guard Dallas Graziani verbally committed to Division II Nova Southeastern on Monday.

The 5-foot-9 Graziani, who also held a scholarship offer from Missouri Western, is averaging 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals for 14-1 Pines Charter.

“I really like Nova,” Graziani said. “The visit was great. I love the coaching staff there.”

Nova Southeastern (13-2 overall, 10-1 at home) is ranked in the top 10 in the country in Division II.

Graziani scored 15 points in his last time out — a 69-53 victory in his return to Cooper City High. The talented guard played at Cooper City his first three seasons.

Graziani is an excellent 3-point and free-throw shooter. He is hard-nosed and competes for his size. He played with the Broward County Cougars in travel basketball.

Pines Charter’s lone loss is to Oakland Park Northeast.

“We’ve really been starting to play better after the Christmas tournament,” Graziani said. “I think if we play at our best, we are one of the top teams for sure.”
