This wasn’t expected as both teams were surprise upset victims in the quarter-finals. Still, there is a lot of talent on the floor and it should be entertaining.
Vernon Carey gave the U-School Sharks the lead with a mid-range jumper to open the contest. That was the last time the game was competitive. IMG simply overwhelmed the Sharks at both ends for the remainder of the contest. A running clock kicked in in the fourth quarter and IMG won going away 88-51.
Carey had 18 points for U-School while Scottie Barnes tallied 17 points.
For IMG, it seemed like every one scored. The main culprits were Jeremiah Robinson-Earl with 26 points, Josh Green with 18, Jaden Springer with 16 and Armando Bacot with 10 points.
