Mikel Brown, DME (MVP): The 6’3 senior, Louisville signee, and McDonald’s All-American has proven to be a three-level scorer, creative playmaker, and better-than-expected defender both on and off the ball.
Willie Burnett, West Oaks: The 6’4 junior is arguably the most creative contested shot-maker you will find. His arsenal of dribble moves allow him to create space to get off an accurate perimeter jumper from either side of the arc or get to the basket and finish in a crowd through contact.
Martay Barnes, Academy of Central Florida: The 6’3 sophomore is tough to contain with his combination of speed and skills. Always dangerous as a slasher to the basket in transition and off the bounce, his three-point shot has become a dangerous weapon as has his passing skills.
Caleb Williams, Specially Fit Academy: The 6’5 senior proved to be effective at either guard spot. At the point, his size and court vision allow him to find teammates and makes passes that most others cannot. Off the ball, he uses screens well and has a quick release with accuracy past the arc.
Paulo Bola, West Oaks: The 7’1 senior from Angola is a tantalizing prospect not only because of his size but also because of his skill level. He handles, passes, and shoots the ball well from the perimeter, runs the floor, and protects the basket on the defensive end.
Joe Hartman, The Rock: The 6’5 junior had a breakout season with his ability to score from multiple angles and distances. He also proved to be a good playmaker when driving to the basket, a solid rebounder for his size, and versatile defender.
Jaymen Townsend, Victory Rock Prep: The 6’6 senior is tough to contain when he gets going downhill with the basketball. He overpowers most opponents, finishes over the rim or creatively in a crowd, and is quick to the offensive glass for putbacks. He uses his body effectively on defense to keep opponents out of the lane and off the glass.
Marcis Ponder, West Oaks: The 7’0 junior is thick, strong, and powerful. Most of his finishes around the basket are very violent. He runs the floor well, is an intimidating presence at both ends of the floor and commands a double-team when receiving the ball in the low post.
Maylan Marte, Downey Christian: The 6’5 senior is a strong driver and big-time finisher at the basket. He seeks out contact, finishes through it and knocks down his free throws. He plays bigger than his size when it comes to rebounding and playing defense.
Caleb Rivera, Central Pointe Christian: The 5’9 senior is quick with the ball, collapses the defense when getting into the paint and makes good shot vs pass decisions once there. His ability to knock down perimeter shots keeps defenders honest.
Justin Roman, Academy of Central Florida: The 6’6 junior is one of those “glue guys” that every team needs to win at a high level. Roman may not be the best athlete on the court but his ability to do everything at a reasonably high rate of success makes him extremely valuable.
Rylen Kelly, Southeastern Prep: The 6’4 junior is athletic and knows how to use it. He has a reliable jumper to the arc, gets to the rim and scores in traffic, rebounds well at both ends, sprints the floor in transition and has the ability to be a secondary playmaker on offense.
