Jordan Corbett, SOH Elite: A 6’5 rising senior at Coconut Creek North Broward Prep, Corbett is a long and athletic slasher and finisher at the basket regardless of the pace of the game. He is an active rebounder at both ends of the floor and he has physical tools to defend a variety of positions.
Sebastian Madera, Miami Triple Threat: A 6’6 rising senior out of Miami Palmetto, Madera is an athletic wing that does his greatest damage in transition, drives to the rim, and on the offensive glass. Madera is quick to the ball coming off the glass and transitions swiftly from one end to the other. He has the length and overall quickness to defend positions one thru four.
Mario Alberich, Team Breakdown: A 6’4 rising senior at Coral Springs Coral Glades, Alberich plays with great energy and is the consummate glue and chemistry guy. Alberich does a lot of little things that don’t show up in the box score but more often than not lead to wins.
Mayer Dheiu, BBD: A 6’7 rising senior at Westwood Christian in Miami, Dheiu is super-athletic and does his best work around the basket. He scores well on lobs, in transition, putbacks and quick shots after cutting to the basket and receiving the basketball. His perimeter skills are rapidly improving.
Chandler Sikes, Team Work: A 6’0 rising senior at Boca Raton St. Andrew’s, Sikes is good shooter from behind the arc with deep range. He is a solid ball-handler that looks to push the pace whenever possible. Sikes makes a lot of hustle plays at both ends of the floor. Jahi Lopez, Miami Triple Threat: A 6’3 rising senior at Miramar, Lopez is athletic, physical, and plays bigger than his listed size. He is a strong driver and finisher, seeking contact and powering through to score more often than not. While Lopez didn’t take many perimeter shots, he made the majority of the ones he did take. He defends tenaciously, will sacrifice his body to make a play, and can bully taller players thanks to his strength and take-no-prisoners attitude.
Christian Fuller, MBJ Elite: A 6’2 rising senior at Lakeland Victory Christian, Fuller is a solid two-way point guard. He plays with good pace, is a strong driver and crafty finisher at the basket, and has reliable range well past the three-point line. He is an alert and active defender that gets many tips and deflections over the course of a contest.
Noah Francois, SOH Elite: A 6’0 rising senior at Weston Sagemont, Francois is both quick and fast with the ball in his possession. He is difficult to keep out of the lane and makes tough finishes in a crowd. If his path to the hoop is cut off, Francois is quick to find open teammates for good shot attempts. He is a decent perimeter shooter but understands he makes a greater impact with his drives. Fast feet and active hands make Francois a veritable pest on defense.
Preston Antoine, Team Work: A 6’0 rising senior at Fort Lauderdale Stranahan, Antoine was an active and aggressive scorer this past weekend. He knocked down shots off the dribble on both sides of the arc with regularity. Antoine also showed good speed, quickness, and decision making with the ball.
Jay Wilkins, MBJ Elite: A 6’4 rising senior who plans to play at Newport HS in Kentucky this coming fall, Wilkins is a high-level athlete with good ball skills. A branch of the Wilkins family tree of NBA players, dad Damien, grandfather Gerald, and great-uncle Dominique have certainly influenced his game. Jay plays relentlessly at both ends of the floor, making not just highlight plays but also those that go unnoticed by all but the most knowledgeable of observers that win games.
