Brandon Sharpe, Weston Sagemont: A rising 6’5 junior, Sharpe is a strong athlete that excels at attacking the basket off the dribble and quickly converting offensive rebounds into points.
Johnas Maurice, Orlando Oak Ridge: A rising 6’1 junior, Maurice is super-quick with the ball, makes good pass vs shot decisions when getting paint touches, and has an accurate perimeter shot on either side of the arc.
Jalil Hill, Fleming Island: A rising 6’10 sophomore, Hill moves very well for a player his size and age. He runs the floor, protects the rim, is a potent lob threat at all times, and scores on the block with basic but effective post moves.
Austin Triggs, Fleming Island: A rising 6’3 sophomore, Triggs is effective at either guard spot. He sees the floor well, penetrates the defense with a plan, and shows three-level scoring potential.
Gavin Youmans, Fleming Island: A rising 6’3 sophomore, Youmans is a skilled playmaker, strong driver, and rugged defender. He doesn’t need the ball to impact the game and makes the most of his offensive opportunities.
Mike McClendon, Tampa Jesuit: A rising 61 junior, McClendon excels when the pace of the game is up-tempo. He is fast with the ball, pushes the pace, cuts through the defense to score and is a pest when guarding the ball on defense.
Isaiah Jones, Tampa McClendon: An incoming 6’5 freshman, Jones hasn’t played an official high school game yet, but he impresses with his length, athleticism and shooting stroke, connecting on a trio of threes in succession in the game we took in.
Greg Dauer, Sarasota: A rising 6’4 junior, Dauer is a good athlete, fundamentally sound, and can challenge defenders off the dribble as well as knock down perimeter shots.
Kaiden King, Windermere: A rising 6’5 junior, King stands out as an athletic slasher that continues to progress as a perimeter shooter. He has a nose for the ball coming off the offensive glass and his length and footspeed make him a solid defender on the perimeter.
Gavin Gorman, Coconut Creek North Broward Prep: A rising 6’5 junior, Gorman has a solid skill set. He has a reliable perimeter shot, handles the ball well vs pressure, and isn’t shy about playing physically when on defense or pursuing rebounds.
Derwyn Link, Bartow: A rising 6’7 junior. Link is a high-quality athlete and knows how to use his physical gifts to maximum effect. He is quick off the floor at both ends for rebounds, lobs, and blocks, runs the floor swiftly, and has the tools to defend in the post and/or on the perimeter.
Lyden Aden, Boca Raton St. Andrew’s: A rising 6’0 junior, Aden is quick and shifty with the ball, is difficult to keep away from the basket, and will knock down perimeter shots if given too much space. He gets his teammates involved and applies excellent ball pressure on defense.
Ryan Connors, Boca Raton St. Andrew’s: A rising 6’7 sophomore, Connors has a good size and frame for a young player. He moves well on the floor, has some inside and outside scoring tools, and rebounds his area well at both ends of the floor.
Josh Brem, Orlando Exclusive Prep (SIAA): A rising 6’9 junior, Brem is filled out and strong. He scores well around the basket as he can overpower smaller players and has the footwork and touch to maneuver around the very few players that are his size or bigger.
Malachi Fernandez, Williston: A rising 6’6 sophomore, Fernandez is thin but a bouncy athlete that challenges shots and puts in lobs and offensive rebounds. As his body matures and he becomes more game-experienced, his value will blossom.
Khamani Pessoa, Hialeah Mater Lakes Academy: A rising 5’10 sophomore, Pessoa is a blur with the ball, attacking the rim in transition and the half-court at every opportunity. Fortunately, he isn’t reckless in his aggressive attitude. His game will get more refined as time goes by.
Marric Savitz, Deltona Pine Ridge: A rising 6’3 junior, Savitz proved to be a marksman from the perimeter, draining four catch-and-shoot threes in the game we took in. Add in a couple of rebounds and assists and Savitz shows some long-term intrigue.
Aiden Spenkuch, Miami Norland: A rising 6’5 junior, the lefty showed a knack for scoring off the dribble from deep. Whether coming off ball-screens or creating separation on his own, Spenkuch got on a roll and was tough to contain. Once the defense tried to take that away, he showed he could get to and score at the basket in traffic.
Michael Williams, Wildwood: A rising 6’8 sophomore, Williams showed intrigue in limited minutes. He has good size and a solid frame and when the ball did come his way, he seemed to know what to do with it. With three more years of high school ball to play, Williams’ growth physically and skill-wise make him one to monitor.
Matthew Joseph, Boca Raton Grandview Prep: A 6’7 youngster heading into the 8th grade in the fall(!), he generated some noteworthy buzz. He is quite coordinated for someone so tall and young, shows athletic potential, and has a basic skill set that can be built upon.
Jake McFarlin, Miami Belen Jesuit: A 6’5 rising sophomore, McFarlin is a multi-sport athlete. He plays hard at both ends, has a solid frame, can score inside or step out and make shots, and pursues rebounds with ferocity.
