CORY ROLLINS

Founder/President

Cory Rollins has been at the forefront of the grassroots basketball scene in Florida over the past 20 years.  He was a Scout/Event Director for Breakdown Magazine in the early 2000’s and has helped produce some of the biggest showcases and high school basketball events in the country.  Cory has coached at the high school and college level and has been instrumental in building championship programs and developing student athletes at various levels.  He was selected Daily Commercial All Area Co-Player of the Year while attending Eustis High School.  He is a graduate of Florida A&M University.

RICK STAUDT

Director of Scouting

A South Florida native, Rick has been a passionate observer of prep level basketball in the Sunshine State since the late 1990s.  He began as a contributor to FloridaHoops.com in its early years, and became the Florida Editor of the Hoop Scoop, a Recruiting Analyst for Prepstars.com, (both national publications) and a contributor to FlaVarsity.com, part of the Rivals network, in the early 2000s.  Rick joined SourceHoops.com at its beginning in 2011 on an exclusive basis.  In that time, he has produced unequaled content, such as his annual Travel Team Previews and yearly Florida Tournaments and Events Listing, which has proven to be an invaluable resource for our College Coach subscribers.  A voting member and ballot reviewer for the Dairy Farmers’ Mr. Basketball Award, Rick also works directly with the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (of which he is a member) to produce the annual All-State Teams for each classification as well as Independents.  Rick routinely contributes to the Orlando Sentinel, and has written preview articles for the nationally respected City of Palms Classic program.  He lives in Central Florida with his wife of 30 years and has two adult children.

ALBERT "COACH AL" ARNOLD III

Lead Scout

A native and current resident of Tallahassee, Florida who has lived, coached and covered High School and Grassroots basketball across the State of Florida. Coaching stints include Havana Northside HS, Miami Sr. HS, P.C. Rutherford HS, Rickards HS, and Godby HS. As a coach, he has been instrumental in the development of several of the Big Bend areas college prospects over the years.
Coach Al joined the Sourcehoops staff in 2011 and has since provided social media coverage for many of Florida’s major High School and Grassroots events, showcases, and games. He is a 1998 graduate of Florida A&M University with a degree in Biology Education.
